Snow means slow

A heavy snowfall brings silence. It slows the traffic and dulls the noise and hurry for awhile. Time to rest and think.

Crystal Clear

An ice storm is dangerous for driving. The weight of the ice can break branches from the trees and knock out electrical power. But the clarity of the ice and the way it sparkles in the sun is a thing of beauty.

Sure is crazy weather

We went from 86 and humid to 60 and dry in just hours. The leaves are changing and the nights are cool enough to need a sweater and the heat on. Other parts of the country are already experiencing an early winter. Haven't even seen the stories about the wooly worms or other folklore predicting the weather for the winter yet. But winter is coming. Walmart and Kmart had their Christmas displays out before October 1st!
