About the Photos

Some of the photos I use to illustrate points on this site are photos taken by myself, or by family members. But one special photographer's work appears here frequently, and I would love for you to get acquanted with his work even better. He seems to love these mountains as much as I do! D. L. Ennis is a thoughtful and gifted photographer and writer. Visit his website here

Reflections Print E-mail

Beauty everywhere Print E-mail

Putting the past behind us Print E-mail
The leaves change color as they die, they fall to the ground and decay to replenish the soil with nutrients to grow new life in the spring. A reminder to keep moving forward, look to the future.

First Frost Print E-mail
A foretaste of the season to come. The frost lets us know the old season is gone and the new one has come and will change yet again. The future is coming, the past is past. These delicate crystals show new facets, new ways to look at life.
